i've bumped into this band a few times, and you can tell from looking at them that they're trying to be the mars volta who, in hindsight, never really developed the potential they were hinting at. i want to say something about how the genre is littered with all of this unrealized potential nowadays, but wasn't it really always the case? weren't you really always lucky for bands in this genre to fluke out on that one great record?

maybe they'll accidentally fall over it one day.
