this seems like it's specifically mixed to appeal to 00s emo/mallcore kids; it sounds like all the rest of it. but the original was specifically mixed to appeal to 80s goth kids. i guess the difference is that ministry were carving out their own sound then, and they're emulating an existing sound now.

i think the irony is consequently that this is by far the cheesier version.
