i wasn't able to get into his record, tbh. it lacked the quirky, weird abstraction of his earlier ep, which he seems to have erased from youtube. and wasn't as far from spiral beach. i'm not sure why he's erased this stuff. nor am i sure why i'm speaking in the third person on his youtube account. that's kind of creepy, isn't it?

there are a moderate number of what you could call "interesting moments" on the disc, but it doesn't come together into a cohesive work the way the best electronic records do, or the way that ep was hinting towards how a full length might. too poppy.
you might quip that we heard some aphex-like potential in the ep, and merely got duran duran in the full length.
