what he needs to do is take some music classes. with a little knowledge about how to write songs, he might be able to do something more interesting with all his toys.
this isn't punk rock. in order to do something interesting in this genre, you need to have some understanding of how tones interact with each other. this is not informed by that knowledge and comes off as very subpar as a result of it.
