this is more along the lines of the kind of thing i'd have actually wanted to go out and see, although i doubt i'd have taken the trip to toronto for it - or at least not on first contact. nor am i likely to end up a big fan of this, either. but, this is the kind of experience i want out of a show - thumping drums, noisy guitars and tortured screams. i don't care that's it out of style right now; what's trending right now, this arms-distance faux intellectual bullshit, is just tired and boring. this sounds like it would actually be fun.
