i was late to a shipley hollow show in windsor in october, 2016 and ended up missing it; i fully intended to attend the show, i just missed it. they played early...

at the time, i was interpreting it as a kind of mellow emo rock band with a math-y flavour, but i was fresh off seeing caddywhampus in a record store in detroit so i may have had skewed perceptions. at the time, i missed the proggier aspect, which seems to be taking over the band. i'm pulling out explicit influences from the likes of mike keneally and the uber-seminal, if mostly forgotten, english post-punk act, magazine.

i think the material from around 2015 is a little stronger then the newer material. but, i intended to see it then, and i'd plan to see them again if they came through.
