this kid is really at the front of his generation in terms of what he's doing and should be taken very seriously. in a very real sense, he's picking up where peter gabriel and trent reznor left off. and i have to say it's about fucking time some younger people upped their game to that point. generation yawn. there was really a full decade where pop simply did not exist at this level of abstraction and production.
